Sony’s scrutiny in Australia appears to have been even more strict leading to the delisting of the original Deponia in that region as well. Unfortunately this affects the collection with Goodbye Deponia as well. We are sorry, but it seems that the perspective at Sony on some scenes in the game changed drastically – which is why it will likely stay this way until something changes about this again. No explanation was given but by early November of 2020 Daedalic Entertainment began replying to Twitter inquiries with the following comment: August was the last month that Goodbye Deponia was included in a discount sale on the PlayStation Store. Goodbye Deponia and the Deponia Collection were delisted on PlayStation 4 across Australian, Europen, and North American territories in late August of 2020.
